Solstice Dawn Walk Reflections

walking into the first dawn of summer

Here are some photos and reflections of our Dawn Solstice Walk! We tasted pine needles, stolen raspberries, nasturtium leaves, and listened to the quiet neighbourhood pierced with bird sounds, in chorus with the low rumble of Marine Drive.

navigating the inside sounds and the outside sounds

Getting lost and found with the Sikh Temple Flag Pole

A poem from a swing and a drawing of energy outward

the leaves rustling, the longest sun, the contrast of peace and quiet

ps Our walk was mentioned in The Scout List Vol. 477 as one of the things to do in Vancouver on the Solstice! Thanks Scout Vancouver!
